Dear Friends,

The "International Music Days Brache" have - since their birth in Summer 2003 - been a unique event of the highest artistic and musical quality, which easily helped to escape the fragile "set up" of major halls or festivals, through the simplicity and purity of the natural beauty of the Brache environment. Artists, teachers, students and music lovers from all over the world, create an original "prototype" of being and living together which consists out of lessons, concerts and musical events.

The engaged work of the past few years has moved us into a position where we have been able to win the favour of famous musicians with high artistic and educational qualifications for the cooperation in this year’s project. Besides, the music days have also developed in fallow a fruitful meeting of lecturers of two colleges from very different cultural circles- the Ionic University of Corfu in Greece and the German college of music in Trossingen. This promises extensive new impulses at high artistic level.

I am welcoming you to the "International Music Days Brache 2008" with sincere joy; as I am convinced that the unique atmosphere that was created in the past four years will yet develop into a special society that will preserve true and sincere love to the music and the arts.

We are happy to present the 6^th International Music Days  Brache and invite bookings from all interested parties. We are proud to announce that, not only have the lecturers of last year promised to participate again, but that the circle has increased even further.

The Music Days in Brache, surrounded by unspoilt nature, have repeatedly proved to provide an ideal setting for inspired work and international encounters.
