Master Classes 31. July – 07. August 2011 The course aims to provide an inspiring artistic experience, covering the whole spectrum of interpretation and includes general music theory, practical work with the instrument and stage experience through nightly concerts by teachers and students.
This year the follwing instruments will be represented: Pianoforte (Lambis Vassiliadis, Reinhard Becker, Zoi Tsokanou), Violin (Dimitris Handrakis), Violoncello (Mario De Secondi), classic Saxophon (Theofilos Sotiriades) Vocal class (Andreas Reibenspies). Correpetition: Ju-Hui Lee (vocal class) Hristos and Beata Sakellaridis (strings) Zoi Tsokanou (saxophone) The courses are open to all persons interested in music: pupils (from the age of 12), students and persons wishing to combine music with an experience of nature. Participants will receive 3 hours of individual tutoring, additional tutorials for chamber music ensembles are offered.
Tutorials will be held daily and organized as suited to the number of participants.
Course languages are German and English, translation services for further languages can be arranged. Afternoon lectures and nature walks and the close community will offer opportunities for creative exchange and communication. Beside the classes there will be ample time for students to practice everything taught in the tutorials. As last years, the public concerts probably will be recorded by local tv. Course fee: Euro 450,-- Includes tutorials, all programme events (concerts, lectures etc.), full board and accommodation in friendly and individually styled rooms with two to four beds. Reductions may be possible under certain circumstances.
